A Trek game started by [[people:MacGyver]] in the early 90's, was very advanced & [[kickass]] for its time.  TOS never opened its source, and is now a defunct tree of development that has become little more than an unstable chat room.  The game utilized a power/class/[[:division]] based [[wp>access control list]] [[:security]] system and was the originating basis for the ideas that created the [[:About | CobraMUSH]] [[:security]] model.
